Medical Director of the Orthopaedic Clinic at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. Clinical Associate, The University of Connecticut School of Medicine with weekly resident teaching responsibilities.
Dr. Scarlett practices general orthopaedics, and specializes in orthopaedic sports medicine. He performs state-of-the-art arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, knee and hip.
Dr. Scarlett has published articles in peer-reviewed orthopaedic journals. He has also presented original research at international orthopaedic conferences.
During his sports medicine fellowship he was an assistant team physician for Tufts University athletics and the 2008 NBA champion Boston Celtics. He is the team physician for Plainville High School.
Dr. Scarlett is an avid sports fan and is athletically active, playing baseball, basketball and weight training.
